Traffic sense with a bit of Humanity

Yesterday i was going back to my place after work , as usual in that heavy traffic i was seeing outside the window and thinking about that day's work and wondering how people driving bikes are so rash even in that heavy jam...

Almost everyone outside were returning homes from office so they are in a hurry to go early while cursing the narrow roads for making them waste their time in the pollution instead of at a gym or a Yoga session...

I was about to start a conversation with my friend sitting beside suddenly we heard one sound probably a horn non stop from some distance... But as it is nearing we realised that it was an Ambulance... I saw there is almost a kilometer of vehicles piled up in 5 or 6 rows on that narrow road giving no place for others to come or even not giving others a chance to move...
Its almost 15 Min's but the traffic dint even move 150 meters and the Ambulance siren was still echoing without fail... We could not concentrate on our conversation simply, instead we had our conversation turning towards the driving sense of people..... Not even one person who are driving either cars or buses gave way to that Ambulance ... whenever the traffic moves they used to move instead giving way to the ambulance..... Its too ridiculous...

Why nobody thinks of the emergency that is prevailing in that situation....
Think about the family who called that ambulance in an attempt to save their dear one's ,, how they will feel with the late arrival of the vehicle and rescue team..... Sometimes its the matter of a few minutes the life of a person depends upon.. And sometimes it is that time it can turn the fate of an entire family...

It is the basic thing we have learned that why the front of an Ambulance is not written properly instead of its mirror image....??? Hope we all know this... at least all the people who are having a driving license and who are good enough to drive their own vehicles on the road.....
The only thing they can do is give place for the ambulance to move on instead going on whenever the traffic moves.... A few minutes late arrival to the home or office really does not change your life entirely or it is not a very big matter..... But it is not the case with the people who are waiting for that Ambulance....

Please learn Humanity along with driving.....
That will give you happiness along with the pleasure of riding...
Take care of you and also others while driving.... :-))

p.s. This is for all the people who are in a hurry that they even don't notice whats happening outside

Whats goona happen today... ??

How many of the Indians are really interested in politics... Interest need not be participating or more precisely contesting in elections but how many of us are really following whats happening in the Indian politics either at the national level or at the state levels individually ???

From past one month the UPA government is facing a tough time at the central struggling to draw a stability between its alliances, finally losing left parties over Nuclear deal...
And after that the situation lead them to take the litmus test and subsequent results today will be the fate of Indian Government whether we Indians will have to update our GK in the sense of updating the name of our PM from Mr.Manmohan Singh to someone else (??) or not...

Today by this time the PM must have started the so called litmus test of how many MPs are supporting the Congress led UPA govt and how many are supporting the BJP led opposition..
The magic mark is the strength of 271 MPs out of the total of 541 in loksabha...

The current situation is that :

Congress + SP + others = 267
BJP + left parties + others = 266
Yet to decide = 8

But according to the latest sources fron capital, they are saying that the UPA govt has already got the much needed 4 more MPs support to survive its Government till the general election coming up in the year following...

Lets see what actually comes out to be the result today....

ANY THING CAN HAPPEN AT ANY TIME -- in life and in politics :-))

INFLATION - Do you know what it is??

Let me tell you this word keeps coming to me almost everyday in someway or the other( mostly by the means of news papers and channels ) ..
I wonder what this word means to a common Indian like me ... but it means alot to the common people... Inflation is at its thirteen years highest percentage now in India ........

To understand this let me take an example........
assume that there are only two commodities say Apples and money in this world.. if due to some drought or something if the crop and availability of apples decreases then imagine the situation..
You will have more money, but the supply of apples is not according to your demand... So obviously the price of apples will increase.... Either you have to decrease the value of money or the most common thing is that the price of goods will increase..... This is exactly what the situation in India is now....

We are at around 7.9% of inflation now ... All well developed countries are in between 2-3% which is optimum... Imagine the situation in Zembabwe where the inflation is at a rate of 35000%..

Due to the increase in the price of most common goods and petrol the people effected are mostly middle class... And in s/w companies this year salaries are decreasing to keep a watch on this. Lets say to decrease the buying capacity of people...

Whatever may happen but we cant stop buying some things for our dialy usage... This is mostly like speculation.. You should have inflation but it should not be too high also....

The formula to calculate speculation is = 100S/(100+i) .

where S= standard ( In india 1993-94 fy is the most stable one) amount
i= percentage of inflation.

Like if you say you can buy 5 kg of potato with 10 Rs in 1993-94 (which is taken as standard year for being financially stable) and present inflation percentage is lets say 8, then you can buy {5/(100+8)} kg of potato now...

You can now get feel of what is the impact of inflation on our day to day life...

These are just the most common views as a common Indian... I am not a Economist infact economics is well above my horizon...

Do share your views on inflation and the steps that we can practice to make it optimum which will be of use to most of the people..
